| The project will work with a group of black and minority ethnic unemployed women and help them overcome barriers they face when planning to enter employment, education, training or volunteering opportunities. Workshops to build the capacity of the project beneficiary group will be delivered to gain confidence, learn assertiveness, time management, balancing work and life, CV building, job searching and interview skills.

The Society will encourage the recording of these traditions, and the conservation and preservation of the canal's environment.
