The purpose of the Club is to provide a regular meeting point for retired local professional and
businessmen.

It is an opportunity to increase their social contacts and meet other similarly minded people.The club
is open to all men from the professional, business and equivalent occupations in the Pendle area who have fully or partially retired or are about to retire from their normal occupation for regularly arranged meetings and social events.

The club is part of the National Association of Probus Clubs and we are a non profit making and self
help club.

The club meets at Brierfield Community Centre on the first and third Thursdays of the month and
meetings commencing at 10.00 am for coffee followed by a varied programme of slide shows and talks.

Visitors and guests are always welcome to attend our meetings.
