Our aim is to present and display textile and steam heritage. Engines run in steam on thirteen Sundays from March to November. Ample car parking, refreshments, souvenirs, DVDs and tea-towels made on our own loom. Static viewing is every Saturday between 11.00am and 3.00pm. Groups or private steamings on non-steaming days by arrangement. Concessions for groups of over 10 people on steaming days. Demonstrations of starting, running and stopping the engine, weaving on a Lancashire loom. Full safe access to engine house, boiler houses and textile industry memorabila. Lancashire and Cornish boilers with the Cornish boiler being hand fired on steaming days. A 1901 mill engine in the course of repair and installation is also open for viewing.
