Nelson District Nursing Association Fund
 
Nelson District Nursing Association Fund is a new charity which helps sick, poor people living in Nelson. To qualify for assistance from the fund, a person must live in Nelson, be sick infirm or disabled and be unable to afford the normal things in life which most people take for granted. Examples of recent help given are:

Single parent on benefits wth two young children. Youngest child has disability and was completely dependent on adults for all his needs. Trustees agreed to purchase new fridge/freezer.

Terminally ill man struggling financially with young family. Trustees agreed to purchase new toilet, boiler and stairs carpet.
